It’s really the memories and the friendships that we had, the people that we miss. I didn’t really keep anything solid like an item. Honestly, friendships are the one thing I really took away. I got to keep some clothes, which was really cool. It doesn’t matter how hard of a day you’re having, Joey always brings you up and it’s not like a one-time thing. It’s the powerful nature that Joey brings to set in a playful way. We were just having the time of our lives! Joel Courtney, aka Lee FlynnĪ post shared by Joel Courtney Favorite moment on-set:īasically just Joey King doing her thing on-set and getting to work so closely with her. And I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it till I drop dead, you guys changed my life and I’m so incredibly grateful for that. Thank you for hanging in there and being so supportive and loving. Sadly, he passed away just recently and I would just tell him that I love him and that I miss him. He was my best friend while we were filming. I would send a note to my driver, Thembla. I’ve taken some photos on it, and it’s pretty cool. It was this twin-lens reflex kind of little camera thing. But I took a camera from one of the sets. I wish they let me take the motorbike! That would have been awesome. It came through the water in the middle of the scene. And then I heard the killer whales were migrating and I could hear their call.
And it was like a dramatic scene of some kind, and it’s very quiet. There was one moment when we were filming on a beach in this town called Scottsboro, which is just outside of Durban, South Africa. Jacob Elordi, aka Noah Flynn She’s such a strong person who has a great head on her shoulders, and I’ve had so much fun laughing with her and playing her and being able to create these memories with her. So thank you for laughing with us all these years! What I want to say to Elle is… Seeing people love these movies and these characters as much as I do and laugh with us is such a gift. Some of my best memories and some of the hardest moments I’ve been through were while I was Elle. And I want to send her a kiss and tell her that I love her and that I couldn’t imagine life without her now. She’s in Canada, and I’m so sad because I miss her. I’m going to pick Meganne, who plays Rachel. I love playing Elle, but I hated those wigs so much.
THE KISSING BOOTH 1 MOVIE
The second and third movie was a full wig. In the first movie, I wore a half wig, so it was like half of my head. Nothing fits me like them! But what I wanted to keep, just for fun, is one of the wigs that I wore in the movie. I got to keep a bunch of clothes, including this pair of shorts that I love. I miss spending all those days with them. They spoiled me, and it was all my favorite people just coming together to celebrate our friendship and how much we love each other.
